@mn-fansscrewedme thank you for posting this and warning us. Im am very sorry you lost money. I will move this thread to the Scam and Frauds section of the forum, at least untill this is cleared up.
Can you elaborate on a couple of things?
-When you said you sent $2000 do you mean you sent them fiat? Or coins that are worth $2000?
-What is this Qabio website that directed you to masternode.fans?@Qabio can you please address these claims above?
Tiaomo's shared masternode service has been hacked and $170,000 worth of funds have been stolen So yea, be always careful friends. Even if you trust a service to the point that you are ready to send them some coins, your funds are always at some kind of risk (external risks as well as internal). My advice would be to use different services, to not have too many of your eggs in the same basket, in case something like this happens to one of your providers. This news comes from masternode.buzz website: https://masternode.buzz/discord-users-shared-masternode-service-hacked-for-170-000/
Yes this coin is a froid coin when i start a masternode i see a probleam when i go to discoid and want to help they charity dev want me to the privet kay and trx after when i give this he trensfer my coin and my wallet is 0
Damn Are you sure it was the dev and not someone impersonating him? Often some fake accounts will take same name as devs to scam people.Anyway, please everyone, allways remember: there is NO reason to ever share your priv key with anyone. Never ever.
Exactly - Scottsdale, AZ is actually where Godaddy has their main location. I wouldn't be alarmed by this, as Godaddy is one of the largest domain providers on the web and I'm sure many projects have used them to purchase their domain. Additionally, I wouldn't be surprised if most of the projects have Domain Protection to hide the contact/registrant information from the public due to the nature of the industry.
