Favorite Masternodes with $5,000 collateral?
With the recent correction accross all the crypto market, a couple of gems have recently reached the $5k levels. These are my favorites:
I like going for established coins (at the cost of a lower ROI most of the time). But I'm open to discussion What are your favs?
@kelnel - I'm in all those and I'd probably put them in the same order.... Also in XFT & INSN which are also in that range. MEME is among my largest holdings, I really think that their KDQ platform could be very special. ALQO has a great project and team. EXCL has been a slow but stable wallet that I've had for about 9 months. NTRN is great staking coin that happens to have masternodes - the team became pretty impressive over the last 8 months.
Bulwark - Alqo - Polis
Interesting. What did you like about Polis? I know I'm cutting corners here as I have not looked at them, but your insight is welcome @camelia
@kelnel well I like their community. They have active devs in Discord, (from what I've seen until now), helpful, and the community seems vibrant and happy. In their roadmap I've seen atomic swaps (personally I like that), and they are going to launch payment gateways (not sure what exactly), but it seems that they want polis to be wide spread. Plus a marketplace somewhere in the beginning of 2019.

Slightly under $5,000 at this moment but i think will be over $5,000 in the short term is XAP. I really like what they are doing with the build of their mn tracker and node-builder

@sst22 Agreed! I like this project so much, that I made it my first Masternode! It has excellent volume, a real purpose, a solid community backing it, a clear path forward, and it pays out very well with robust rewards. When Apollon finally makes it easy to use their platform to easily set up and manage other MNs, it'll become a game changer!
thx guys for the insights; looks like I'm gonna have to take a look at XAP

I like DiscountCoin!
It's listed on MNO at $1.25 but the price on their ICO page is $1, so they qualify for $5k masternodes.
It's a really recent project, but they are active on their discord channel, the blockchain is running fine, they have nice rewards and "lucky blocks" granting 1MN worth of coins from time to time...
But most of all, they have a real project with real-life usecase ! I hope they will succeed so one day I can buy my meal at McDonald's with DiscountCoins !
@uld Nice! Did you get lucky and got one of those "lucky block" yet ?

I'm going hardcore for UTILITY... coin has to do something. In this category my favorites are: Stipend, EscrowCoin and GIN
Honorable mention goes to Alqo, Numus and Magnet which WILL have a function soon.

@camelia I also really like Polis and Bulwark. Polis has a good community, Dev team, volume, and ROI compared to others. I think its a great play with its current price.
@scozz if Polis keeps his promise about Cacao Pay it will boom. At first I didn't want to spend 3k on a masternode but now I'm more confident to take that risk.

Couldn't resist to mention it.

A recent coin that starts well : MasterBit (MBC)
The masternode is between 500 to 1k (fluctuating, of course, since it's only the beggining), but with a team that seems to have good ideas.

BiblePay (BBP) - 10% Charity - CPU Only - 38% Cancer Research - ASIC Resistant - 20% Monthly Budget
I also like Polis and Bulwark but am not invested currently
Im not in Bibliepay, but from what I've seen overall it looks like a great coin to me. You should really check their project out, they have an ANN here on BetweenBlocks.
I personally have trouble with things that have a specific religious angle, which is the reason I didn't buy in, but all their charity work looks great. The coin specs are also solid, and @togo is doing great with all of his answers about Biblepay. There is still a high chance of me getting in anyways even though there is a religious aspect to it.
